En Ami: Off the Top of My Head (SPOILERS) Here's what I liked:   -  Wow.  Scully got conned.  That's refreshing.  I'm pleased that, for once, it's not Mulder who's been led down the garden path.   -  Speaking of whom, Mulder's looks at her at the end were a perfect combination of disappointment/"how could you?"/embarrassment at knowing that he's been conned a few times himself.   -  Glad Scully made an attempt to keep in touch with Mulder (best laid plans, of course...) rather than do a ditch.   -  Yes, I noticed: nice light blue mock t-neck, Scully.  Please buy a dozen of those in an assortment of colors.     Here's what I didn't like:   -  About keeping in touch with Mulder: what, she couldn't have left him a clue in her apartment?  Scribbled a note, left it under her pillow?  Oh, I guess pre-arranged secret hiding places would go hand-in-hand with pre-arranged "Is that really you, Mulder, or a shape shifter/MIB/etc.?" means of identification.   -  Next time, Scully, wear a *black* blouse and a *black* bra with the *black* wire, okay?   -  CSM didn't drug her, eh?  Yeah, I believe she slept through him carrying her into the house and changing her clothes (and he left the wire on her?  am I missing something here?).  But since we didn't see her eat anything, how did he do it?  Did it have something to do with the gloves?  If not, what the hell were the gloves for?!?   -  ::sigh::  I was following Scully's behavior up until she received the note about Calico Cove.  Why did she share that information with CSM if she didn't trust him?  And WHY THE HELL DID SHE GIVE HIM THE DAMN DISK?!?  Yeah, I know, plotwise she had to so ol' Smokey could pull the disk switcheroo.  But it was idiotic for her to do.  I can understand why she went along with him to begin with -- I can even understand why she misled Mulder -- but handing over the disk made no sense to me at all.  Not only should she have not trusted him with it, but he intended to give the information to her all along, so she should have just kept it.  Grrrrrrr.   -  No big surprise when Mulder and Scully went to the office building at the end and it was deserted.  But why did they go *there* rather than the last place Scully had seen CSM?  Wasn't that where we saw him at the very end, flinging the disk into the water?   -  Gunmen:  oh, my.  They're scary looking enough under normal circumstances; I hope we never see them in disguises like this again.  ::shudders::     Perplexed about:   -  Marjorie.  What exactly was the point of having her there?  Will Mulder and Scully try to track her down?   -  Mulder getting Scully's landlord to open her apartment.  Ummm, he doesn't have a key?  Seriously?     All in all, I was on the edge of my seat for the first 45 minutes.  The ending (from Calico Cove on) fell flat for me.  But perhaps I'll be able to see it in a different/more positive light as I read others' posts.
