Sitting in a car, staking out the night's subjects. Feels like old
times.

"Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions happen every twenty years, but most are
not this memorable," Mulder states. "The 2020 Great Conjunction is
the closest since the year 1623." He reaches out his index finger as
though he could communicate with it a la the movie "ET."

"And it's the closest that's been visible since 1226," Scully adds. 
She holds her hand up to the sky, thumb separated from fingers, then
slowly pinches them together until it looks like she holds up the
bright orb.

"So once every eight hundred years," he continues, "two very
different planets converge, in a way, creating something beautiful
and brilliant."

She looks at him, smiling, choosing not to analyze whether he's
still talking about Jupiter and Saturn.

"Yes it does, Mulder." She takes his hand, leans in closer, turns her
gaze back to the celestial phenomenon. "Yes it does."
